Two No-fiction Books Are Published
Both are published in E-book form for the Kindle reader.
Data Management for Executives and Managers is a short, no nonsense primmer on a subject that is becoming increasingly important; how to manage large data sets. Most managers delegate this task to their IT specialists and then sit back and regret having done that. For many, maybe most, companies and organizations data is a strategic asset on a par with financial resources but managed with far less rigor. Date Management for Executives and Manages provides an easy to read list of best practices that is understandable and easy to grasp. Drawing on my own experience as a senior manager and as a translator of IT issues for other senior managers, I present the most hard-hitting information in an executive summary format. The whole book could be quickly read on a 2 hour plane flight and then referred to later when issues arise.
Side by Side is a guide for people who are neighbors to the USDA Forest Service. It gives simple and practical advice and guidance on ways that neighboring landowners can coexist with a big and often difficult bureaucracy. In addition, the book provides resources where any landowner with internet access can quickly go to get informed to deal with their federal neighbor on a equal footing.
Side by Side will be available as an E-book for the Kindle and or by in PDF format. It will be a must-read handy reference for the thousands of people who have property that is near to a National Forest and would be of some use for folks who live near any federal land holding.
